Pineapple Sheet Cake
Recipe from Leora Lynn (my aunt)
Yield: 1 - 9x13 sheet cake
Ingredients:
Cake
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons baking soda
- 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple, with juice
- 1 cup chopped nuts
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Icing
- 8 ounces cream cheese, at room temperature
- 1 box powdered sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 stick (1/2 cup) margarine
Directions:
- Mix all ingredients and pour into greased 9"x13" pan.
- Bake at 350°F for 35 - 40 minutes.
- Icing: Mix all ingredients together and spread on cake.
